PURPOSE: To solve a problem of error in confirming a core by an operator. ;CONSTITUTION: In an automatic core exchanging system using an industrial robot, an exchanging type core 4 wherein a discrimination part 71 for discriminating the core 4 is formed and the industrial robot 1 wherein a hand 11 for performing automatic exchanging of this core 4 is provided, are provided and the hand has a constitution wherein a read station 72 for reading the discrimination part 71 before movement of the core 4 is located and the core 4 is confirmed before exchanging it, and a movement and exchanging operation of the core 4 are performed after confirmation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
