PURPOSE:To automatically inform parties concerned such as a police station of an accident and the current position of an automobile generating the accident even when a driver loses consciousness by detecting the shock of the collision by a collision detecting means, driving a position detecting means simultaneously with the detection of the shock and automatically making contact with an emergency section through a transmission system of an automobile telephone system under the control of an I/O control means. CONSTITUTION:A shock sensor 52 is connected to interlocking switches SW1, SW2, and when an automobile collides with an object, the switches SW1, SW2 are automatically turned on. The switch SW1 is connected to a control circuit 10 for controlling a dialing signal through an emergency number generating circuit 53, and at the time of inputting an emergency signal from the circuit 53, the control circuit 10 transmits an emergency signal to an emergency section such as a police station based upon a program previously set up in a ROM 17.
