SHAKING SIEVE FOR COAL-WATER SLURRY EQUIPPED WITH DISPERSING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To separate coarse particles surely and efficiently without causing any decrease in sifting capability by dispersing a coal-water slurry homogeneously with a dispersing machine and uniformly scattering the slurry onto the sifting plane of a shaking sieve. ;CONSTITUTION: A dispersing machine 22 having a dispersion shaft 24 pointing the width direction of a shaking sieve 10, which sifts a coal-water slurry in wet, and having dispersing members 26 is installed at the upper part of a supporting member installed at the upper part of the shaking sieve 10. A coal- water slurry is supplied through a supply pipe 42 to a supply trough 28 of the machine 22, dispersed homogeneously, and caused to flow as a uniform filmy flow from the edge of a supply port 30. Simultaneously the port 30 is variably opened with a movable cover 32 installed at the periphery of the trough 28, controlling the flow rate of the slurry. The slurry is then supplied and scattered uniformly in the width direction of the sifting plane of the shaking sieve 10 and sifted in wet. Then, a switching damper 48 is opened to discharge the oversize through a discharge port 54, and the undersize is transported to the next step through a passage 68.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
