摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a highly efficient ceramic filter carrier wherein characteristics of an industrial waste are utilized and which has a compsn., an internal structure and a shape being most suitable for a biological film-type waste water treating system and has durability and is inexpensive. CONSTITUTION:A carrier for microorganism for waste water treatment in a biological film method is obtd. by using a porous ceramic with a mean pore diameter of 10-50mum. pref. 30mum. A waste water is purified thereby by biological use of a group of microorganisms living in the ceramic filter carrier in the biological film-type waste water treating apparatus. In this case, purification efficiency of the waste water is improved by aeration and circulating flow under an efficient condition and the running cost can be decreased thereby.
