SOLID-STATE LASER DEVICE FOR GENERATING LD EXCITING SECOND HARMONIC

PURPOSE: To provide a solid-state laser device for generating LD exciting second harmonic which can be improved in laser oscillating efficiency of fundamental waves and increased in second harmonic (SH wave) output. ;CONSTITUTION: In a solid state laser device for generating LD exciting second harmonics comprises an LD 1, a condenser lens 2, a solid-state laser element 3 provided with an optical thin film 31 constituting one laser resonator, a SHG element 4, and a reflection mirror 5. The thin film 31 meets such requirements that the film 31 must have reflection preventing function against exciting light from the LD 1 and must have theoretical reflectivity of ≥99.99% against fundamental waves having a desired wavelength among a plurality of oscillated waves oscillated by the laser element 3 and, at the same time, must not have a high reflecting function against the other oscillated waves, and then, must have a high reflecting function against SH waves converted by the SHG element 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
