PURPOSE: To reduce the remodeling from a rice transplanter and provide a planting part usable as a transplanter, capable of transplanting vegetable seedlings on a sheeted ground surface without any trouble such as sheet breakage and excellent in general-purpose properties. ;CONSTITUTION: This structure for a planting part of a vegetable transplanter is equipped with a movable float 5 following up to the sheeted ground surface by ground contact of a pair of left and right front rollers and a pair of left and right rear rollers in a planter 4 so as to enable the free vertical movement, a height sensing means 7 capable of sensing the vertical position of the movable float 5 relatively to the planter 4, a lifting and lowering mechanism (B) capable of driving, lifting and lowering the planter 4 relatively to the mobile machine body and a lifting and lowering control means capable of operating the lifting and lowering mechanism (B) based on values sensed with the height sensing means 7 so as to maintain the planter 4 at the set height from the sheet surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
