PURPOSE: To improve the survival rate or growth rate of young fish and to improve the survival rate of grown fish by periodically distributing bait from a feeder and generating acoustic signals at prescribe frequency by operating an acoustic projector at the time coincidental with the time to feed bait. ;CONSTITUTION: A feeder 12 is provided for periodically distribute bait to young fishes 11 or the like in submarine environment 10, and an acoustic projector 14 is installed for generating acoustic signals within the frequency range from 10 Hz to 4 RHz in the water so as to stimulate fishes. Any frequency suitable for training fishes to respond is selected, and acoustic signals at the selected frequency are generated by operating the acoustic projector at time matched with the time to distribute bait from the feeder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
