PURPOSE: To obtain a method for displaying date on a photograph, etc., capable of displaying year, month, day, and the day of the week by using a six-digit numeral conventionally generally used and also capable of easily performing the approximate calculation of the number of days by displaying twelve months using numeral of a near ten days unit. ;CONSTITUTION: The numerals of a period of ten days of 01-36 of two digits obtained by dividing the days of respective months from January to December into 1-10, 11-20, and 21-31; the year numerals showing the last two digits of A.D.; day numeral showing 31 days obtained by adding 1 to the numeral of one digit showing the day or to the day of the week numeral; and the day of the week numeral of the one digit constituted of 1-7 and the numeral showing 31 days other than 1-7 are used in this method for displaying the data of the photograph 2, etc., by using a 6 digit numeral.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
