PURPOSE: To provide a novel method for reducing the bitter taste of an orally ingesting material such as a medicine or food having the bitter taste and to obtain a composition reduced in the bitter taste. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for reducing a bitter taste is to add the glycerol diester of a fatty acid to an orally ingesting material such as a medicine or food having a bitter taste, and the composition reducing the bitter taste is the glycerol diester of a fatty acid added in an amount of e.g. 0.01wt.% to the orally ingesting material having the bitter taste.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
