摘要

PURPOSE: To carry out precise measurement by using an electrode consisting of a specified substance as measurement electrode. ;CONSTITUTION: A solution 11 containing H2O2 is in a container 10. A measurement electrode (a work electrode) 12, a reference electrode 13, and a counter electrode 14 are immersed in the solution 11 and at the same time, connected with a potential variable apparatus 15. An electrode of an element selected from among Ti, Zr, Ta, and Nb is used as the electrode 12. Any electrodes can be used for the electrodes 13, 14. In the case the pH of the solution 11 is kept constant, the play potential of the electrode 12 remarkably decrease together with the increase of the H2O2 concentration. The corrosion speed of the electrode material of the electrode 12 has a significant correlation with the H2O2 concentration and based on that, sufficiently high precision of H2O2 concentration measurement can be obtained. Discernment is carried out employing corrosion ratio measuring method such as a Tafel external insertion, linear polarization, and measurement of corrosion potential of electrodes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
