摘要

PURPOSE:To allow automatic flaw detection on a curved surface even at a corner of key groove in a graphite block similarly to other parts through effective use of robot function. CONSTITUTION:The flaw detection jig employs such constitution as a disc probe guide 2 is fixed through a supporting arm 3 interlocked with a robot arm 9 controlled by a robot having position specifying function and the rotating force is transmitted from the robot arm 9 through a rotation transmitting mechanism to the probe guide 2 thus rotating the probe guide 2. The probe guide 2 is provided with a metal 21 for securing a flow detecting probe 1 such that the flaw detecting face 11 thereof will be flush with the outer diametral surface of the probe guide 2. The radius of the probe guide 2 is set shorter by a dimension delta than the radius at a curved part of an object. When the rotational axis of 65 of the probe guide 2 is aligned with the center of curved surface of the object, the curved surface is sweeped by means of the probe 1 by simply rotating the probe guide 2 thus effecting the flaw detection.
