PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily evaluate the position or size of a flaw using a master by solving the problem that many objects to be inspected must be inspected in a conventional ultrasonic flaw detection type inspection device and a large number of the obtained inspection data must be accumulated and to enhance the precision reliability of the inspection device. PSOLUTION: After a spherical body including a metal material is cut along a certain plane, the hole 13, which is vertical to one cut surface of the cut spherical body and reaches the vicinity of the opposite spherical surface of the cut spherical body, is formed using a drill with a diameter ϕ of 0.2 mm or above and 0.7 mm or below so that the distance 12 from the bottom part of the hole to the spherical surface becomes 50 μm or above and 300 μm or below to form the master for the flaw detector of detecting the internal flaw of a sphere.
