PURPOSE: To healthily raise a plant, maintain the productivity of the plant, and readily produce the fruit vegetable having a high quality. ;CONSTITUTION: Oxygen-removed water, especially oxygen-removed water prepared with hollow fiber films, is irrigated in soil to change the root system of a fruit vegetable into a low oxygen state for a constant period and control the absorption of water, thus producing the fruit vegetable having a high quality enhanced in the amounts of water-soluble ingredients (e.g. sugar, organic acid or vitamin C) contained in the fruits without deteriorating the yield.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
