Mould frame and ejector mechanism for clay brick production machine

The brick moulding machine comprises a continuous chain conveyor on which mould frames (14), each with a line of brick moulds (21, 22) are coupled to the conveyor link components (15). The moulds are filled with clay, compacted, and trimmed by an overhead screw feed system as the moulds pass underneath. The mould containers (14) are attached to the link (15) by bolts (16, 17) and are easily detachable. The moulds (21, 22) have movable bottom plates (23) driven by conventionally operated ejectors (24) with return spring bias (25). The ejected green bricks are transferred automatically to take-off plate pallets.
