Pneumatic or steam engine with differentiated control for high output consists of a piston rod-distributor 1 non- rotating with the possibility of axial movement, having two return and discharge lines on the inside communicating with the openings 32 of triangular shape and opposite each other in order to reduce and control the feed time of the single delivery, preserving the total opening (i.e., 180 degrees) on discharge both with left and right rotation by means of simple axial movement of the distributor which also causes inversion of motion. Everything is connected within a distributor shaft 28 in turn supported by two bearings 6 held on the outside by a seger 24 and on the inside by a ring nut 3. Said secondary shaft is a series of slits 33 corresponding to the distributor so as to control distribution and is restrained by a cross 7 engaged on two sliding blocks 22, everything having the function of synchronization. A series of pistons 9 engages on said distributor shaft 28 by means of rings 27, within which a cylinder 14 is found, hinged on a pin 26 fixed on rotating body 8 attached to engine shaft 17 by two bearings 18 anchored on the outside by a seger 16 and on the inside by a ring nut 3.
