A PNEUMATIC PURE FLUID SPEED CONTROL FOR A 500 KW STEAM TURBINE GENERATOR

A Pneumatic Pure Fluid Speed Control was designed and constructed for a 500 KW steam turbine generator. Its performance was demonstrated in a laboratory bench test on a scaled system. The unit met the specification for 1/2% speed control for a 10% load change.nThis report covers the selection of a suitable system, a description of the performance of each component, and a summary of the test results.
