CLEANING SOLUTION FOR PAINTING TOOLS, METHOD OF CLEANING PAINTING TOOLS WITH THE SOLUTION AND THE USE OF THE SOLUTION TO REMOVE PAINT RESIDUES, INCLUDING DRIED RESIDUES

The invention concerns a cleaning solution containing a mixture of organic solvents and characterized in that: 1) it has a vapour pressure at 20 °C of, at the most, 3 mbar and; 2) it contains a solvent mixture consisting of: a) 5 to 60 % by wt. of aromatic and, optionally, aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic hydrocarbons and b) 40 to 95 % by wt. of at least one other solvent selected from the group comprising the esters, ketones, ether esters, alcohols and ether alcohols, the sum of the proportions of components (a) and (b) being 100 % by wt. and component (a) consisting of at least 60 % by wt., relative to the total weight of component (a), of at least one aromatic hydrocarbon. The invention also concerns a method of cleaning painting tools using this solution and the use of the solution to remove paint residues, including dried residues.
