Device for remote stud welding using a remotely controllable welding gun and a welding apparatus. According to the invention, the device includes electrical masses (60) mounted on the welding gun (40) so as to simplify the remote-control operations. These electrical masses are disposed on either side of the stud (47) to be welded and are spring-mounted so as to permit a better contact with the surface onto which the said stud is to be welded. The device also comprises a trigger pedal (42) connected to the welding apparatus (32), this pedal permitting remote actuation of the welding gun. The invention applies in particular to the nuclear field, as it permits welding in areas having a high risk of irradiation. IMAGE
