CHLORONICKEL COMPLEX OF DICHLORO(BIS) -2- MERCAPTO -5-TRICHLOROACETYLAMINO -1,3,4- TRIAZOLE -NICKEL (II) AS CURING ACCELERATOR OF EPOXY COMPOSITION

FIELD: used as a curing accelerator for epoxy composition. SUBSTANCE: alpha-2- mercapto -5-trichloroacetylamino -1,3,4- thiadiazole is prepared at room temperatures at a molar ratio of the starting components (1:2) in an aqueous acetone solution according to the scheme NiCL₂·6H₂O+[NiL₂Cl₂] followed by filtration and drying over KOH. The yield is 30%. The complex is chromatographically pure. stable, is not hydroscopic and is not explosion hazardous. It decomposes and does not melt at 10 C, is readily soluble in dimethylformamide and dimethylsulfoxide of the empirical formula C₈H₄O₂N₆NiSCl₁₆. Ir spectrum is см^-1 = 3100 (CN-CH), 1710 (C=O), 1600 (C=N), 1535, 1570 (CNNH), 855 (C=S). The resulting complex is used as an accelerator in hot curing compositions based on a multi-component epoxy binder. EFFECT: improved properties of the composition.
