FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: instrument for the finishing and strengthening processing of bodies of revolution has a housing and a bearing cone on which the deforming rollers rest. The rollers are encased in the separator. Their face ends interact with the bearing surface of the regulating sleeve. The sleeve is mounted on the housing for axial displacement. In the process of cold rolling, during the axial supply of the instrument, the rollers take up the axial efforts and pass it by the face ends of the bearing surface of the regulating sleeve. In so doing the face ends of the rollers perform a rotary motion around the proper axis relative to the bearing surface of the sleeve and a forward motion around the housing axle. EFFECT: considerable improvement of the working conditions of the contacting surfaces, enhanced resources at the expense of increasing the area of the worn surface and ensure uniform depreciation of the contacting members. 1 dwg
