Open-pore mouldings for the building material sector

The mouldings are based on a thermosetting polyurethane as binder for finely particulate material. They are distinguished by a pore volume of from 30 to 50 % by volume and high water permeability, where the water is not changed, or not significantly changed, after a contact time of 7 days. The mouldings preferably have geometrical dimensions of known building boards or building bricks made from solid or porous material. They are used, in particular, for paving squares and paths in order to allow rain water to trickle away on the spot.
