Non-destructive test appts. using optical and holographic-interferometric techniques

The appts. includes a pressure chamber and a holder for optical or holographic analysis objects (5). The pressure chamber contains a water-tight, dismantlable housing (2) with an optical path to the test object (5) mounted within so as to divide the chamber into two sections (I,II). Each of two containers (7,8) at atmospheric press. internally is connected to one of the chamber sections. Both chamber sections and the containers are filled with liquid (6) with the liquid level in the two containers different so as to generate a press. difference which acts upon the test object. There is a mechanism for altering the liquid levels in the containers.
