Muscle-powered drive for land vehicles, watercraft and aircraft with an integrated steering system

The conventional drives have the disadvantage of only using a small portion of the body's muscular system, or they are technically very complex and prevent use in vehicles with several drivers. A drive having a fixed bearing for one pair of extremities and a track-guided carriage for the other pair of extremities and a fixed or releasable connection to a chain drive transmits the force of the forward motion of the moving pair of extremities to the hub of a running wheel. The return movement of the pair of extremities does not have any effect on the drive due to a freewheel in the hub or due to the releasable connection between the driving carriage and chain.
