PURPOSE:To increase an adjustable load capacity by a construction wherein the main body of an outer rotor type dynamometer is incorporated inside a free roller and the speed of rotation of a load roller is increased and transmitted to a rotor of the main body of the dynamometer. CONSTITUTION:A free roller 17 having a dynamometer main body incorporated a free roller 18 having a flywheel incorporated are disposed coaxially, and the free roller 17 is so disposed as to correspond in parallel to one load roller 15, while the free roller 18 is so disposed as to correspond in parallel to the other load roller 16. The free roller 17 has an outer rotor type dynamometer 24 fitted therein. a belt wheel 30 of a small diameter is set on a rotating shaft 26a of the dynamometer 24 and a timing belt 22 is stretched round between this wheel and a belt wheel 23 of a large diameter on the side of the load roller 15 having a flywheel incorporated so as to obtain a construction wherein a rotor 26 is rotated at an increased speed higher than the one of the load roller 15.
