The process consists in placing a sample impregnated with a first fluid in a tray (2) containing a fluid other of different density and to apply a centrifugal force, by rotating the cup, at the end of an arm (16), so as to be studied, the displacements of the fluids in the sample in the course of at least two distinct phases. During the first, it increases the speed of rotation in order to drain the first fluid out of the sample. During the second, it progressively decreases the speed of rotation. In order to avoid any discontinuity and to allow a wetting of the sample, it is possible to permanently maintain the two fluids in contact with the sample. It is possible to determine the quantity of fluid produced in the godet (2) by the centrifugation. It is also possible to transfer the fluid product in a chamber which is variable, to the inside, for example, of a second rotating bucket (6).
