The invention relates to a process for the synthesis of acylated derivative of a fatty acid-transporting thiol such as the coenzyme a. & br / according to this process, a thiol silyl or stannylated by reaction of the thiol with a silylation reagent or stannylation for at least partly replace the unstable hydrogens of the thiol groups sir3 or snr3 with r being an alkyl or aryl group.
