CREATION OF ZOSTERA ZONE AND ZOSTERA CULTURE IMPLEMENT

PURPOSE: To facilitate algal zone creation assuring and facilitating the root taking of rhizome at the sea bottom as well as markedly enhancing zostera growth and enabling high-quality and high-yield harvest, and also facilitate algal transplantation and algal zone setting each compatible with the sea bottom topography. ;CONSTITUTION: The leaf root and/or rhizome B of zostera is rolled in a cellulose sponge sheet or mat and bound; a number of the resultant bodies are then connected respectively to the knots of a fiber net made from e.g. a calcium- polyethylene composite resin, and the resultant net is set up and laid on the sea bottom by a fixing means such as metallic poles, anchors or blocks, thus creating the objective algal zone (zostera zone) with significantly raised successfulness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
