MACHINED HOLE DIAMETER MEASURING METHOD BY HONING HEAD, AND HONING HEAD AND MASTER RING USED IN THIS METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a machined hole diameter measuring method without generating the interference of pressure wave, and a honing head used in this method. ;CONSTITUTION: Air nozzles 15 serving as the measuring parts of an air micrometer are provided at plural circumferential places of a honing head 1. Air is jetted from each air nozzle 15 to a clearance between the peripheral surface of the honing head 1 and the inner peripheral surface of a machined hole, and air pressure at that time is converted into an electric signal to detect clearance dimension, thus measuring a machined hole diameter. In this case, clearance dimension is individually detected, and the machined hole diameter is measured on the basis of the average value of the detected value. The air nozzles 15 serving as the measuring parts of the air micrometer are provided at plural circumferential places of the honing head 1, and the A/E converters 17A, 17B of the air micrometer are provided every air nozzle 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
