PURPOSE: To obtain a pipe fixing device that presents fine appearances without being equipped with projecting parts and is safe without being liable to become harmful in hitting faces of pedestrians. ;CONSTITUTION: A pipe fixing device is constructed of a receiving member 1, a hold-down member 2, hexagon socket head cap screws 3 and 4, and a hexagon socket head cap screw 5. The hexagon socket head cap screw 5 is screwed into a wheel anchor 8 through a through hole at the bottom of the receiving member 1. The heads of the hexagon socket head cap screws 3 and 4 are housed in cavities 2c and 2d. A pipe 20 is distorted, being pressed by planes 1i, 1j, 2i and 2j and joined firmly to the receiving member 1 and the hold-down member 2 with elasticity deriving from the distortion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
