The device has a clamping part (9) for producing a friction-fit connection between an external pipe and an internal pipe (5). The clamping part has a pivotable eccentric cam (11) arranged at a shaft (13) that is supported at the external pipe and accommodated in the internal pipe. The eccentric cam presses against an inner side of a wall (33) of the internal pipe and against an inner side of the wall of the external pipe for pressing the internal pipe for producing a friction-fit connection with the external pipe against the inner side of the external pipe in an active position.
