FEED PROMOTOR OF CAT AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a feed promoter of cat, having effect, e.g. promoting appetite of cat by blending it into foods of cat and provide a method for producing the promoter. CONSTITUTION: This feed promoter contains extracted solution obtained from a foliage of cat nip or a foliage of kiwi as an active ingredient. The promoter is obtained by grinding the foliage of raw cat nip or the foliage of raw kiwi with a mixer, adding water in a prescribed amount thereto, gradually heating the foliage up to a prescribed temperature, heating and extracting the foliage, naturally cooling the mixture, filtering the mixture and allowing the resultant filtrate to stand in cold and dark place and removing insoluble component by centrifugal separation.
