FORGING DIE FOR FORMING SPLINE AND CORE EXTRUSION FORGING DIE FOR PREFORM WITH SPLINE

PURPOSE: To produce a forging die for forming a spline and a core extrusion forging die for preform with spline which can obtain the preform with high precise spline. ;CONSTITUTION: Each first spline forming land 5a has a forming part 51 and an escaping part 52 and each second spline forming land 3a has a forming part 31, escaping parts 32, 34 and a correcting part 33. Force intended to bend the preform to the axial direction and the right angle direction is prevented with the correcting part 33 and the slippage of the axes of the first spline and the second spline can be prevented. Further, reaction generated at the lower part side is not concd. into the escaping part 52 because there is no correcting part in each first spline forming land 5a, and so much upsetting in the escaping part 52 is not developed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
