PURPOSE: To provide a compressive roll device for a cast slab in a continuous caster for thin slab, in which the bulging, etc., is not developed during casting without developing fault and wave on the surface of the cast slab. ;CONSTITUTION: Each of the compressive rolls in the compressive roll device for cast slab, arranged just below a mold for thin slab is divided into three rolls at least a left roll 1, center roll 2 and a right roll 3. Three rolls are all the same outer diameter straight roll, and the center roll 2 is eccentrically supported to the left and the right rolls 1, 3 and the roll interval of the center roll 2 is made larger than the roll interval of the left and the right rolls 1, 3, and the eccentric quantities are large in the compressive roll near the mold and made smaller toward the compressive rolls far from the mold. By this constitution, the center bulging part of the cast slab is pressed in order.
