PLATFORM SAFETY MONITOR SYSTEM AND SAFETY MONITOR METHOD USING THE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To provide a platform safety monitor system as well as a safety monitor method using the system having the capability of enhancing safety via the reduction of a burden on the station staff, and reducing cost. ;CONSTITUTION: This device is formed out of a passenger sensor 20 to generate an obstacle sensing signal 20a upon the detection of an obstacle entering a dangerous zone extremely near a vehicle by the time of a train start after the closure of a door, a train sensor 30 to generate a train sensing signal 30a and a train non-sensing signal 30b, and a transponder 40 for communications with an onboard transponder 41 over the time from a train stop at a stop position and a train start. In addition, a safety monitor control means 50 is provided for constraining a train start, upon receipt of the signal 20a by the time immediately prior to the judgement that the train closes a door and starts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
