HEAD TANK WATER LEVEL REGULATION CONTROL DEVICE FOR HYDRAULIC POWER PLANT IN SNOWY AREA

PURPOSE: To provide ahead tank water level regulation control device for a hydraulic power plant in a snowy area which enables stable water level regulation of a head tank to be conducted even when snow jam flows into the head tank. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a screen 5 disposed in a head tank, for preventing passage of foreign matter between upstream and downstream, thereby so separated, pressure sensors 6a, 6b disposed upstream and downstream, respectively, for detecting the water levels, a temperature sensor 9 for measuring external air temperature, and a calender for outputting current time in terms of month. When the different in level between upstream and downstream in the water tank exceeds a predetermined level and then the external air temperature as measured by the temperature sensor 9 and the month indicated by the calender correspond to those in snowy season, the level regulation control is not made. When the difference in water level is lower than the predetermined level, the level regulation control is again started.
