MENGOSHI (LOCK CONNECTION) WITH ESCAPE AND BURGLAR-PROOF FUNCTION

PURPOSE: To block rotation in a lateral direction of an operation member to lock and hold the frame body of a mengoshi (a lock connection) in a closed state, to perform reliable lock operation, and provide a burglar-proof effect. ;CONSTITUTION: An after-mounting mengoshi 1 mounted on a sash blade of a sash comprises a pair of right and left vertical frame bodies, a pair of upper and lower horizontal frame bodies, a plurality of mengoshi bodies 4 juxtaposed approximately at equal intervals in the lateral direction of the frame body, and an outer frame body 20 on which the frame bodies are laterally movably disposed. An escape operation mechanism 31 to lock movement of the frame bodies through rotation in a vertical direction of an operation member 31 and release a lock through rotation in a horizontal direction is arranged at a vertical frame part 21 of the outer frame body 20. A resilient member 8A is disposed between a frame 4A and the moving frame 4B of the mengoshi body 4, and an engaging bar 9 to be moved integrally with the moving frame 4A, block operation in horizontal direction of the operation member 31, and hold the lock state of a frame body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
