PORTABLE POSITION DETECTING DEVICE, DAILY REPORT PREPARING DEVICE AND TRAFFIC EXPENSE ACCOUNT STATEMENT PREPARING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To reduce business desk work, and prepare a daily report in which outside activities were exactly recorded, in a short time. ;CONSTITUTION: A position detecting device 3 which an outside duty business-man carries, stores position information received by a GPS receiver 11 for every fixed time after it is started, and time information from a clock 13 in an IC card 5 to make time series data. After the outside duty business-man returned to the company, the daily report preparing device 7 reads out the time series data from the IC card 5, and divides the time series data into a time zone where the position detecting device 3 was standing still, and a time zone where the device was moving. Then, the daily report preparing device retrieves map information or the names of traffic facilities which correspond to the respective time zones from CD.ROM 35 to display them on CRT 39 together with the respective time zones. The business-man supplies requirements through a keyboard 43 to complete a daily report. By the use of the position detecting device 3 and the daily report preparing device 7, the need for a memo on places for business talk or traffic facilities is eliminated, and thus the daily report can be exactly prepared in a short time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
