PURPOSE: To obtain a saccharide source which is prepared by completely removing lees from a heated saccharide source, by supplying a saccharide source having a specific brix degree by dilution with water to a tank, heating, sending it to a membrane unit, returning a solution not to permeate a membrane to the tank, circulating the solution and recovering a filtrate. ;CONSTITUTION: A stock solution is diluted with distilled water to give a saccharide source having 40-50 brix degree, which is continuously supplied to a heating tank, preferably at 3m/sec circulating flow rate and heated to 81-94°C by the heating tank. The heated saccharide source is continuously sent to a membrane unit equipped with a ceramic membrane, preferably an UF membrane having 1≥2,000 fractionated molecular weight or a MF membrane having ≤0.2μm pore diameter by a pump under 1-10kgf/cm2 membrane filtration pressure. The solution not to permeate the membrane is returned from the membrane unit to the heating tank again and circulated and a filtrate is continuously recovered as a purified saccharide source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
