PURPOSE: To determine the subject factor having a long half-life in blood with a high sensitivity by using an antibody reactive with human granulocyte colony- stimulating factors (G-CSFs) and the G-CSFs modified with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) and a monoclonal antibody unreactive with the substances modified with the PEG. ;CONSTITUTION: A measured value obtained by measurement using a measurement system specific for a G-CSF using a monoclonal antibody is subtracted from a measured value in a measurement system for determining the total amount of the G-CSF and the G-CSF modified with a PEG using a polyclonal antibody to thereby determine the G-CSF modified with the PEG with a high sensitivity as an immunoassay using the polyclonal antibody reactive with the G-CSF or its derivative and the G-CSF modified with the PEG or its derivative and the monoclonal antibody, specifically reactive with the G-CSF or its derivative and unreactive with the G-CSF modified with the PEG or its derivative such as a solid-phase sandwich method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
