COAT-GRANULATION OF SEED HAVING PRICKLE STRUCTURE AND COAT-GRANULATED SEED

PURPOSE: To provide a method for a coat-granulation of seeds having prickles capable of imparting a high flowability (rolling properties) during the coat- granulation, making the seeds uniform and stable and efficiently coat-granulating and further enclosing one seed in one coat-granulated seed in high probability. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for coat-granulating seeds having prickle-like structure includes a process to remove the prickle-like structure on seed coats by dry physical means or wet chemical means as a preprocessing of the coat- granulation of the seeds in coat-granulating seeds having prickle-like structure. The coat-granulated seeds can be obtained by removing prickle-like structure on the seed-coats by dry physical means or wet chemical means and coat- granulating the resulted seeds.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
