PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing an antibody obtained from an egg yolk of a hen immunized with dog parbovirus and exhibiting preventive effect extremely effective against a parbovirus infectious disease of a young dog or cat in the period at which vaccine can not effectively be affected. ;CONSTITUTION: This composition contains an antibody obtained from an egg yolk of a hen immunized with a dog parbovirus. An antigen virus is inoculated to egg-laying hen exceeding 200 day age in an viral amount of 103 to 108 TCID50 (TCID50 is 50% infected amount in a cultured cell) per hen by subcutaneous injection or intramuscular injection. High antibody value is preferably obtained by carrying out additional immunity after 3 to 4 weeks from the first time immunity. An extracting method by chloroform, etc., or precipitation method, etc., for using polyethylene glycol is generally exemplified as a method for recovering an antibody from egg yolk. Furthermore, symptom of vomition or diarrhea accompanied by parbovirus infectious diseases is preferably improved by simultaneously blending the composition with sugar and electrolyte.
