THREAD TAKE-UP LEVER AND NEEDLE BAR MECHANISM FOR SEWING MACHINE

摘要

PURPOSE: To reduce vibration of various parts of a sewing machine and noise caused by it by suppressing the main shaft bending vibration. ;CONSTITUTION: A needle bar crank 3 to move a needle bar 6 vertically and a thread take up lever crank 7 to oscillate a thread take-up lever 4 are situated across a main shaft bearing 2 and fastened onto a main shaft 1. Thus, the inertial force generated when the needle bar 6 and the thread take up lever 4 are raised causes to draw the main shaft at both sides of the main shaft bearing 2 and the inertial force respectively acts as the force to deform the main shaft in directions opposite to each other to eliminate the deformation of the main shaft 1. Consequently, bending vibration of the main shaft 1 is suppressed and noise generation at various parts of the sewing machine are reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
