TEA MANUFACTURING UNIT EQUIPPED WITH SCATTERED TEA POWDER RECOVERY DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a tea manufacturing unit equipped with a scattered tea powder recovery device having such advantages as to address poor economy of discarding scattered tea powder ejected from the upper part of an agitating drum without impairing the whole tea leaves quality. ;CONSTITUTION: In this tea manufacturing unit having an agitating drum with the top opened such as a crude tea roller 1, there is equipped, above the outside of the agitating drum 3, with a scattered tea powder guide G to catch scattered tea powder A ejected from the upper part of the drum 3, and a recovery channel R communicating with the inside of the drum 3 is set up in front of the guiding direction for the guide G. The recovery channel R is also provided with a back- flow proofing device 30 such as an air blow-off port 31, according as appropriate. Therefore, the tea powder A is not scattered about, resulting in markedly mitigating sweeping labor. Furthermore, as the scattered tea powder A is processed in the agitating drum 3 again, the quality of the whole tea leaves can be retained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
