BLOWING METHOD BY TOP BLOWING CONVERTER AND TOP BLOWING LANCE USED THEREWITH

PURPOSE: To provide the blowing method which can suppress generation of dust to a minimum in top blowing and attain high speed refining and a top blowing lance used therefor. ;CONSTITUTION: In a top blowing converter in which at least one time of blowing of a top/bottom blowing converter, the mixture of gaseous oxygen and liquid oxygen mixed in advance is blown on the surface of steel bath, a top blowing lance 1 is provided with a liquid oxygen passage 2 to supply liquid oxygen, a gaseous oxygen passage 3 to supply gaseous oxygen. A gas/liquid mixing zone 4 forming gas/liquid mixed oxygen by mixing liquid oxygen 5 and gaseous oxygen 6 is provided at the tip of the liquid and gaseous oxygen passages 2, 3.
