CINERARY URN MADE OF STONE AND MANUFACTURE OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: To provide the cinerary urn equipped with structure to be easily produced even with high-hardness granite. ;CONSTITUTION: The cinerary urn made of stone is provided with a main body 1 composed of cylindrical stone, bottom plate composed of stone fixed for closing the bottom face of this main body 1, and lid body composed of stone for freely attachably and detachably closing the upper face of the main body 1. Concerning the main body 1, stone 7 in the shape of non-space pillar is cut from its upper face side to the bottom face side while remaining one part of the bottom face side by a first core drill 10 of which the outer diameter is smaller than the width or diameter of the stone 7. Next, the stone 7 is cut from the bottom face side to the depth cut by the first core drill 10 with the same cutting center axis as the first core drill 10 by a second core drill 11 equipped with the outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the first core drill 10 and larger than its inner diameter. Thus, the cinerary urn is manufactured by removing a core 9 of the separated stone 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
