PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjustment of resistance and the replacement of parts when a means for imparting the moving resistance of a sliding scale body is adopted in the internal-dimension measuring ruler, wherein the scale bodies, on the surfaces of which the graduations are provided, are slidably mounted on the upper and lower sides of the main body of a long scale having the H-shaped cross section. ;CONSTITUTION: A braking part, which generates resistance, is constituted of a receiving plate 31, a fixing screw body 32, which is screwed into the receiving plate, and a spring supporter 33, wherein a compressing spring 35 is provided and a sliding body 34 in contact with a partition plate 11 of the main body of a long scale is provided at the tip part. The moving resistance of the sliding scale body can be set by the adjustment of the screwing of the spring supporter 33. The members can be readily replaced from the outside.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
