PURPOSE:To carry out the holding and conveyance of a film stably and efficiently by shutting off vacuum suction ports at which a film to be held and conveyed is not put around from an exhaust system with a shut-off means. CONSTITUTION:The case body side of a supporting cylinder 37a is formed as a board body, while through holes 37f are provided on its film winding part side, and the inside of a roller on the film winding part side is connected to an exhaust system through an exhaust pipe 33a, whereas, the inside of the roller below the film winding part and, accordingly, vacuum suction holes 31 are shut off by the exhaust system and the case body of a shut-off means 37. Hence, by externally rotating the supporting cylinder 37a, the case body of the shut-off means 37 can be set in the optimum position in the vicinity of the contact point between a film 30 and a roller body 32. The shut-off means 37 is formed in an integral structure and can be operated merely by rotatingly setting its position to a roller as a whole. However, it is possible to split the shut-off means 37 into two parts so as to be spreadably superposed in the center to make it adjustable to each of the contact starting point and the contact end point of a film.
