PURPOSE: To repair a conduit while flowing fluid therethrough by carrying a repair material sleeve outside an inflatable member, and pressing the repair material sleeve at least to both ends of the repair zone of the conduit while expanding the inflatable member in a radial direction. ;CONSTITUTION: A core member 4 has fluid openings 30, 31 and a fluid passage 32. Water or drainage is flowed at the time of use. An end 3 of an inflatable member 1 is positioned as an end of the core member 4. A repair material sleeve 27 made of thermosetting resin impregnated reinforced material as a repair material for a conduit is installed on the inflatable member 1. The end 3 is introduced as a front into a repair zone of a conduit such as pipeline to be retrofitted or repaired. Expansion medium of proper temperature is introduced from an inlet duct 8, for expanding the inflatable member 1 and energizing the repair material sleeve 27. It is in close contact with an inner wall of the conduit. After perfect hardening of the thermosetting resin included in the reinforced material, the expansion medium is discharged.
