PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of mounting work of a printed board, by arranging two terminal rows connected with even number of diode chips, so as to constitute mutually point symmetry. ;CONSTITUTION: Terminals 16a, 18b, 16c, 18d of a lead frame which are connected with even number of diode chips 14a-14d have the respective connection surfaces 20a-20d for die bonding, and terminals 18a, 16b, 18c, 16d have the respective connection surfaces 22a-22d for wire bonding. All terminals have the same forms, sizes and intervals. Since adjacent terminals have the connection surfaces mutually different in use, so that the row 17 of terminals 16a... and the row 17 of terminals 18a... constitute point symmetry, and the polarity of diodes is not changed when the terminal rows are inverted by 180°. Hence it becomes unnecessary to consider the polarity, and the possibility of erroneous polarity mounting is eliminated, when a diode module is mounted on a printed board or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
