METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SEED AND SEEDLING ROT AND BACTERIAL DAMPING-OFF OF RICE PLANT

PURPOSE: To provide a new method for controlling seedling rot and bacterial damping-off of rice plant in a nursery box for the rice plant. ;CONSTITUTION: The characteristic of this method for controlling seedling rot and bacterial damping-off of rice plant comprises diluting a solution containing kasugamycin or its salts with water, respectively spraying 10 to 100ml resultant solution on a rice plant seedling at the time of previous emergence and production of sheath leaves at 1000-80000ppm expressed in terms of the active spraying concentration based on one nursery box (30cm × 60cm × 3cm size) for the rice plant or diluting the solution with water and respectively spraying 100 to 1000ml diluted solution at 100 to 8000ppm expressed in terms of the active spraying concentration on the rice plant seedling already attacked with the seedling rot and bacterial damping-off the rice plant in the one- to the two-leaf stage based on the one nursery box (30cm × 60cm × 3cm) for the rice plant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
